Silk Dinnerware Set
For the Silk collection, I wanted a vessel that could be used to elevate the experience of eating while not being so over dramatic that it becomes overwhelming. The design was meant to mimic a table cloth being draped over a vessel to add that level of theater and excitement to the meal, and to keep with my original design intention of keeping it minimal. The bowls were cast out of plaster and then painted to look like porcelain.
